What you're giving up at this price
- Streamer specialists will eventually want a dedicated sink-tip line — budget another ~$100–130 when the time comes.
- The Liquid S -7+ is the outfit's ceiling: it's excellent for trout, merely adequate if you start chasing steelhead.
- A 6-weight is a compromise weight — pure streamer anglers fish 7s; pure nymphers fish long 4s and 5s. This is the middle deliberately.
